Overview Of Hilti Power Tools
Founded in 1941, the worldwide Hilti Group evolved from a small family company in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Today, Hilti develop, manufacture, and market a range of Hilti power tools products for the construction and building maintenance industries, primarily to the professional end-user, with a strong focus on the masonry-drilling process.
Hilti employ almost 20,000 employees in more than 120 countries around the world, and offer services such as fleet management, online purchasing, and on-site technical consulting.
Each Hilti power tool has theft coverage, which means if your tool is stolen you can ring Hilti and they will flag it as such. If/when the perpetrator returns your tool to Hilti to get it repaired, the tool is seized and returned to you.
Quality Of Hilti Tools
Each Hilti power tool is designed for professional use.
Every Hilti power tool product can have up to a 2 year repair warranty, a lifetime repair cost limit, and a lifetime manufacturers warranty.
This means that all repairs required (even on parts subject to wear and tear) within up to two years from the date of purchase are free of charge, with pick-up and return transport of the tool included.
The repair cost limit is such that after the no-cost warranty period, you will only ever pay a maximum of 30% of the tool’s initial purchase price on further repairs. Any tool breakdown within up to 6 months after the last repair will be repaired free of charge.
The lifetime manufacturer’s warranty gives you a lifelong guarantee on faulty materials or manufacturing faults. Units are either repaired or replaced (free of charge) if faults or defects occur as a result of either of these two reasons.
